Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities teams at Airbles Road Centre. You will apply the Nursing Process framework to deliver high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs under supervision.

You must hold current NMC registration and demonstrate teamwork, good communication, IT skills, and a valid driving licence. This permanent, full-time role offers a supportive environment with NHS benefits and a 36-hour week.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
• Excellent team working skills.
• Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A driving licence is required; full UK/EU/EEA licence.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Provide high standards of client/patient care under supervision.
• Co-ordinate and supervise junior staff where required.
• Participate in meetings and forums with the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with NMC Code and governance frameworks.
• Contribute to monitoring clinical standards and governance.
