Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is recruiting Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality care for patients with complex needs across mental health and related services. The role involves applying the Nursing Process under supervision, with responsibility for supervising students, junior staff, and coordinating care within a defined clinical area.

The post requires a registered nurse with NMC registration, strong teamwork, and excellent communication. A full UK/EU driving licence is also desirable.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
• Excellent team working and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Nursing Process to deliver high standards of care.
• Supervise students and junior staff within the clinical area.
• Coordinate and supervise a small team in delivering care when required.
• Assist in signposting to sources of information and care pathways.
