Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking a senior nurse to lead and manage a clinical area within an outpatient service. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for patients.

The role includes contributing to education, development and line management of staff, and undertaking management responsibilities in the absence of the outpatient Manager. Welsh language skills desirable.

Qualifications

• Evidence of CPD
• 1st level nurse with NMC registration
• Post-Graduate Diploma or equivalent training/experience
• Significant experience in the clinical speciality or a relevant nursing role
• Demonstrate teaching, mentoring and coaching skills
• Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team setting
• IT skills using health board clinical databases
• Welsh language skills desirable
