Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the operating room, with pediatric focus and a commitment to patient-centered care. The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and surgical excellence, serving as a regional referral center.

Requirements include an accredited BSN, RN license valid in Florida or compact, and 6 months of RN experience with a preference for OR experience in pediatrics or adults. BLS certification is provided by AHA.

As a 259-bed teaching hospital with more than half of its beds dedicated to intensive care services, we serve as the regional pediatric referral center for Florida's west coast, providing advanced critical care, complex surgical procedures, and innovative therapies. Through strong community partnerships, we also support neonatology and pediatric services across the region.
Recognized as a Magnet® designated hospital by the ANCC, we uphold the highest standards in nursing and patient care while fostering a culture of compassion, teamwork, and professional excellence.
The Operating Room features 10 fully equipped surgical rooms, 2 special procedure rooms serving patients of all acuity levels. Our busiest specialties are ENT, Urology and Ortho but we also see many cases in general surgery, plastics, GI, neurosurgery, dental and ophthalmology.

Qualifications

Salary Range: Minimum 38.34/hour - Maximum 59.43/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
