iGo Recruitment is seeking Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN or RNLD) for a permanent Functional Assessor role in Yeovil, delivering PIP and WCA assessments. This is a report-writing position, not hands-on nursing, with assessments via telephone, video, or at the Yeovil centre.

The role is permanent hybrid, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, with no nights or weekends, and £40,000–£42,000 depending on service. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with UK registration (NMC) and current practice.
• Experience in health assessments is preferred.
• Ability to write clear, evidence-based reports.
• Good IT and telecommunication skills.

Responsabilités

• Complete structured PIP/WCA health assessments by phone, video or in person.
• Review evidence and produce concise reports for the DWP.
• Work in a hybrid setting between home and the Yeovil assessment centre.
• Explain assessment results without providing medical treatment or diagnosis.
