Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a Registered Nurse for Mais House in Bexhill. This is a full‑time position (37.5 hours weekly) on a 7‑day rota, with shifts from 7:45am to 8:15pm. The role pays £21.39 to £23.12 per hour and focuses on delivering compassionate, high‑quality care for older residents.

You will lead by example, ensuring clinical excellence while supporting a warm, stimulating home environment that respects residents’ dignity and individuality.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience in a care home or similar setting (<140 chars)
  • Experience in leading a team and promoting high standards of professional practice
  • Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and best practices
  • Management of Medicines Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum Asset Level 2 in Dementia Care or willingness to undertake

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the dedicated team at Mais House in Bexhill. This is full time role, 37.5 hours per week working over a 7 day rota, shift times are 7.45am - 8.15pm. This role has an hourly rate of £21.39 to £23.12 per hour.

As Registered Nurse, you will play a key part in creating a stimulating and compassionate environment, leading by example to promote the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our residents. Your expertise will support our care team in delivering outstanding clinical care while fostering a warm and engaging home.

What We're Looking For:
  • Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience in a care home or similar setting.
  • Experience in leading a team and promoting high standards of professional practice.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Management of Medicines Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum Asset Level 2 in Dementia Care (or willingness to undertake).
