Job summary

The Oaks in Birmingham is seeking a Qualified Registered Nurse to join its 71-bed nursing and dementia specialist home. You will lead by example, support the care team, and ensure residents receive compassionate, personalised care every day.

You will liaise with GPs and multi-disciplinary teams, manage medication ordering and administration, and help maintain a warm, professional environment for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid NMC Pin - no restrictions.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and ensure team members have the right level of support and guidance.
• Liaise with external departments, families, team members and management.
• Order and administer medication.
