About the Role

Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observing all instructions to act on their behalf while ensuring high standards of care for our residents.

Other responsibilities will include:

  1. Undertaking nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
  2. Advising residents’ families and GPs of any changes in condition that give rise to concern, and keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
  3. Responsibility for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your duty period and residents receive the necessary care.
  4. Providing high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
About You

To be successful, you will embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.

Our ideal candidate must:

  1. Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
  2. Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies or qualifications.
  3. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
  4. Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
