Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Bagshot Gardens Care Home in Bagshot, Surrey. The role requires acting as person in charge, stepping in for the manager, and ensuring high standards of care for residents.

You will supervise staff, coordinate care, and communicate changes to residents, families and GPs. DBS check and UK work eligibility are required. NMC registration and a First Level qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum 2 years’ experience in care, supported by post-basic studies/qualification.
• Display strong interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition and keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
• Supervise and deploy care team staff to ensure duties are completed during the duty period and residents receive required care.
• Provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

ABOUT THE ROLE
