Job summary

Willing Care Ltd in Weymouth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its dementia care home team for night shifts. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing across all dementia stages, performing assessments, and maintaining thorough clinical records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents living with dementia at all stages of the condition.
• Carry out and oversee comprehensive assessments of residents' physical and emotional health needs.
• Develop, implement and regularly review individualised care plans in line with residents' needs and preferences.
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with NMC standards and home policies.
• Monitor residents' conditions closely and respond promptly to any changes in health or wellbeing.
• Liaise effectively with GPs, healthcare professionals and families to ensure a holistic and joined-up approach to care.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation at all times.
• Support and guide care staff on shift, promoting a culture of dignity, respect and compassionate care.

Nursing & Dementia Care | £23.00 per hour| Night Shifts

Our client is a specialist dementia care home set within a beautiful character property, surrounded by landscaped gardens. The home has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate all stages of dementia, creating a truly unique and considered environment where residents can feel safe, comfortable and cared for.
