Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a confident and caring Registered Nurse to join a family-run nursing home dedicated to high-quality care for older adults in the United Kingdom. You will provide person-centred nursing, support residents and collaborate with the care team to meet individual needs.

To succeed, you should hold an RGN or RMN qualification with valid NMC registration and PIN, and have experience in elderly care.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification is essential.
• Valid NMC registration and PIN is essential.
• Experience with older adults in a nursing or care home setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge and nursing assessment skills.
• Confident in administering medication and managing individual care needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to older adults.
• Assess residents’ needs and develop, implement and review individual care plans.
• Administer medication safely and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Monitor residents’ health and respond to changes in their condition.
• Carry out clinical procedures and nursing interventions within your competence.
• Support Healthcare Assistants to maintain high standards of care.
• Work with GPs and families to ensure continued wellbeing.
• Maintain documentation and handovers following NMC and CQC requirements.

We’re looking for a confident and caring Registered Nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents, supporting their individual needs and working as part of a dedicated care team.

Your Role as a Registered Nurse

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to older adults
• Assess residents’ needs and develop, implement and review individual care plans
• Administer medication safely and maintain accurate clinical records
• Monitor residents’ health and respond appropriately to changes in their condition
• Carry out clinical procedures and nursing interventions within your competence
• Support and guide Healthcare Assistants to maintain high standards of care
• Work closely with GPs, healthcare professionals and residents’ families
• Promote residents’ dignity, independence, comfort and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate documentation and effective clinical handovers
• Follow NMC standards, safeguarding procedures and CQC requirements

What We’re Looking For
