About the role

This highly skilled nursing role involves supporting people’s holistic needs, requiring a range of clinical and nursing skills. You will provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults with complex health needs, focusing on maximizing independence and daily living skills.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, and implementing care
  • Providing person-centred, evidence-based nursing care
  • Developing collaborative, needs-based care plans
  • Safe medication administration
  • Promoting health and wellbeing
  • Being the Nurse in Charge on a small unit during shifts
  • Managing challenging behaviors
  • Promoting choice, dignity, independence, and respect
