Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 registered nurse for Hugh Squier Ward, a 24-bed adult unit in the Healthcare for Older People service. The post involves taking delegated charge of patient groups, assessing and planning care, and supporting ward leadership in the manager's absence.

Shifts run across days, nights and weekends on three-part time contracts. Open to experienced or newly qualified nurses, with funded training and strong teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• NMC registration with active practising license.
• Recent or experienced nurse ready for Band 5 responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Take delegated responsibility for a group of patients on each shift.

Band 5 registered nurse post on Hugh Squier Ward, a 24-bed adult unit in the Healthcare for Older People service run by Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The nurse takes delegated charge of a patient group each shift, assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care, and may lead the ward in the manager's absence. The ward mixes acute and rehabilitative care with a small neurology caseload, and shifts run across days, nights and weekends on one of three part-time contracts. Open to experienced and newly qualified nurses.
