IDART is a Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership multi-disciplinary community-based team which provides seamless support for individuals with drug and/or alcohol Issues.

The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse in the Perth & Kinross Integrated Drugs & Alcohol Recovery Team with opportunity to participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients with a drug and/or alcohol problem. Along with the opportunity to participate in the delivery and administration of buvidal which is an injectable form of buprenorphine, an opiate substitution therapy and other related treatments. Perth & Kinross Integrated Drugs & Alcohol Recovery Team, provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 care to patients with drug and/or alcohol problems.
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the assessment and treatment of patients referred. The utilisation of motivational strategies will be a key part of the treatment delivered by the post holder. The focus of the treatment provided will be the recovery of the patient. The post holder will have a role in liaising with social work teams, primary care, residential units and other partner agencies as part of the post.
The Perth & Kinross Integrated Drugs & Alcohol Recovery Team includes community substance use team which works across the area and Kinclaven in patient substance misuse unit based at Murray Royal Hospital
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Hours of work are: 37 hours, per week
Fixed Term/ Secondment for 6 months
