The Emergency Department is a dynamic, busy environment offering a wide range of clinical experiences. As a band 5 nurse, you will develop your knowledge and skills in emergency nursing across majors, minors, and resuscitation, caring for patients with complex needs and co-morbidities. You will work with various services and healthcare professionals at the interface of acute and primary care, providing opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Successful candidates will have access to CPD activities related to Emergency Nursing, including opportunities for Masters level study and skill development. Evidence of ongoing learning and commitment to professional growth is essential.
The primary base is the Emergency Department at Perth Royal Infirmary, with possible rotation to Ninewells Hospital based on service needs.
Hours: 37 per week, with an 11.5-hour day/night shift pattern.
