Job summary

Agincare is actively recruiting Registered Nurses for our bank roster across the UK. As an experienced or newly qualified nurse, you will mentor care staff, manage medications safely and support residents with personal care.

Shifts include days, nights and weekends, with a typical night pattern 20:00–08:00. We offer fully funded training up to QCF level 5, pension and user-friendly pay options to support career development at Agincare.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin and current registration.
• Recent clinical CPD evidence and experience in care settings.
• Experience in mentoring or supporting care staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and develop a team of care staff to meet residents' clinical needs.
• Administer and record medications safely in line with policy.
• Monitor nutrition, hydration and changes in care needs.
• Liaise with management, families, social workers and medical professionals.
• Support and lead on resident activities and care planning.

• Assisting residents with personal care in accordance with their
• individual care plans
• Liaising with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and the resident themselves in ensuring the care provision meets their
• individual requirements and making recommendations based on changes in care need.
• Administering and recording medication safely in line with company policy
• Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration and taking steps to update nutrition plans with any revised dietary requirements.
• Monitoring residents for risks around pressure wounds and any abnormalities regarding toilet output.
• Participating in, and promoting resident activities. A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• A valid, in date NMC pin without restrictions to practice
• Evidence of recent clinical CPD
• Previous experience working as a nurse within a healthcare setting is essential; applications from newly qualified nurses will not be considered.
• This is a bank role, so you must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends as and when required
• Flexibility to work Sundays and Mondays is required for this role
