Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Registered Nurse to join our care home team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, supporting residents with complex needs, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice in line with CQC regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
  • Create, implement, and review person-centred care plans tailored to each residents needs.
  • Monitor residents health and wellbeing, identifying any changes or concerns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, pharmacists, and social workers.
  • Supervise and support care staff to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and nursing records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and infection control policies.
  • Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
  • Participate in training and continuous professional development.

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC Registration (RN / RGN / RMN / RNLD).
  • Previous experience in a care home or similar healthcare setting (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of EMAR systems.
  • Training in Medication Administration, Manual Handling, and Safeguarding.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights.
