Job summary

Fortius Clinic is seeking a dedicated Nurse for our Surgical Ward. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a modern orthopaedic and spinal clinic, with rota coverage including days, nights and weekends. You will join a team of world-class specialists in a setting that emphasises excellence and compassionate care.

The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with shifts of 8–12 hours. A highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in an inpatient setting.
• Undertaken a phlebotomy course with current clinical practice in this area.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Relevant spinal or orthopaedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of individualised patient care on the Surgical Ward.
• Work as part of the orthopaedic/spinal care team to support patient recovery.

• Registered Nurse with a current active NMC PIN
• A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience from an inpatients setting
• Undertaken a relevant phlebotomy course and current clinical practice in this area
• Evidence of continuous professional development
• Relevant spinal or orthopaedic experience
• Good IT skills and ability to use clinical data systems
• Be able to demonstrate knowledge of NMC professional code of conduct and its application.
• Understanding of fundamentals of nursing care and ability to deliver a high standard of individualised care.
• Up to date clinical skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and some experience of managing a small team.
• Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload.
