Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Registered Nurse for bank shifts across its care home portfolio in the UK. The role requires an NMC pin without restrictions, a minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK, and up-to-date CPD records.

You will support residents with personal care, medication administration, nutrition and hydration planning, and risk monitoring. Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends is essential as part of a dynamic, resident-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a care home setting is essential.
• A valid, in date NMC pin without restrictions to practice.
• Evidence of recent clinical CPD.
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Liaising with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and the resident themselves to ensure care meets requirements and make recommendations.
• Administering and recording medication safely in line with company policy.
• Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration and updating nutrition plans as needed.
• Monitoring risks around pressure sores and toilet output.
• Participating in and promoting resident activities. Flexible working hours required (days, nights, weekends).

• Administering and recording medication safely in line with company policy
• Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration and taking steps to update nutrition plans with any revised dietary requirements.
• Monitoring residents for risks around pressure wounds and any abnormalities regarding toilet output.
• Participating in, and promoting resident activities. experience in a care home setting. Flexible working hours are a must as the role requires availability for days, nights, and weekends.
