Job summary

The Harefield Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) to provide clinically led, person-centred care in a nursing and dementia setting. You will assess needs, manage care plans, administer medications and lead shifts to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Progression opportunities exist within a well-led team. You will work with residents, families and professionals to uphold standards, document care, and support independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills.
• Confident in leading shifts and supporting a team.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, but nurses from varied backgrounds are welcome.

About The Harefield Care Home

The Harefield Care Home is a welcoming care home located in the peaceful village of Harefield, Uxbridge, Middlesex. Providing nursing and dementia care, the home offers a comfortable and supportive environment with bright living spaces, accessible bedrooms, landscaped gardens and welcoming communal areas. Colleagues work together to provide personalised, high quality care while supporting Residents to maintain their independence, interests and daily routines.

Registered Nurse RGN Contract

• £23.77 to £24.27 per hour
• Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.
