What was it that made you decide to become a nurse?
Whatever your reason, at HC One, the Kind Care Company, we can offer you a career where your kindness will be truly rewarded.
Whether you are at the start of your exciting career journey, or have years of experience as a registered nurse, working within a care home environment can be incredibly rewarding.
It embodies the practice of nursing, all while building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with Residents and their loved ones.
We are looking for kind nurses to join our dedicated care home teams across the country, offering enhanced rates of pay that progress with your experience alongside a wide range of attractive company benefits.
As a nurse at HC-One, you will build on your existing skill set, practicing in a nurse-led environment, developing complex decision making and collaborative skills. You will make a difference to our Residents at a time of their life when they may feel the most vulnerable, guiding and supporting them in life-changing decisions, which is a humbling and rewarding part of the role.
You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number and will understand your commitment to your profession through the standards of practice set by the NMC.
You will have a passion to mentor and share your knowledge with colleagues, providing support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and professional behaviour are essential.
You will advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what actions to take. Attending safeguarding training and knowing how to report concerns are required.
At HC-One, kindness is more than a word. It is a belief that caring for people means caring about what matters most to them so we can support them to lead their best possible life.
We promote the 5 qualities of Kindness the HC-One Way: curiosity, compassion, creativity, courage, and reliability. We champion inclusivity and support professional and personal growth through career pathways, CPD, and postgraduate programmes.
We support our nurses with benefits such as paid NMC PIN renewal, paid DBS/PVG, free uniform, homemade meals on shift, pension scheme, 28 days annual leave, group life assurance, Wagestream, learning opportunities, GP online service, colleague discounts, wellbeing support, recognition schemes, and a referral bonus scheme up to £1000.
We aim to provide a smooth onboarding process and support your career development, ensuring you can be your true self in an inclusive environment.
