Glebe House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our privately owned Ayrshire residence. You will lead shifts, administer medication and develop person-centred care plans for residents within a clinically led team.

We offer ongoing training, funded development and clear progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles. A supportive environment values dignity, independence and wellbeing for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Experience in a care home or clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to lead shifts and mentor care staff.

• Administer medications and monitor health changes.

Glebe House Care Home is a privately owned residence nestled in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of East Ayrshire. We provide personalised Nursing and Residential care for up to 46 residents, offering a warm, supportive environment where comfort, dignity, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £22.88 per hour
• Contracted to 36.75 hours per week - 3 shifts per week
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For

• Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment
