Job summary

Balhousie Care Group is seeking a registered nurse to join our care home in Scotland. You will deliver compassionate nursing care, supporting residents with physical and mental health needs and using clinical judgment for safe practice.

You must hold an NMC pin, be eligible to work in the UK, and be flexible to shifts. PVG check is required. We offer a supportive environment with clear career pathways.

Qualifications

• Qualified RGN or RMN with valid NMC pin.
• Experience in a care home is helpful but not essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse on our team, you’ll provide exceptional care to our residents, attending to their physical, psychological, and social needs to help us deliver the quality of care they deserve.

We’ll rely on you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental health needs, while also using your professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions. Your responsibilities will range from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and ensuring excellence in all you do. You’ll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be valued and respected for your contributions.

About You:

You should be a qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices. Experience as a staff nurse or registered nurse in a care home environment would be useful but is not essential. What’s just as important is that you’re organised, have great communication skills, and are flexible enough to work shifts.
