Job summary

Priory Hospital Southampton, part of Priory Group, is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Eating Disorder Unit. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours, with a salary of £36,176 per annum, and not suitable for newly qualified nurses.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, maintain safe environments, and uphold NMC standards. A minimum of 3 years post-registration ED experience and ongoing CPD are essential. Driving may help due to location.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience working within an Eating Disorder setting.
• Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards.
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to change, improvement and delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to work flexibly and use innovative approaches to care.

Priory Hospital Southampton is looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse to join the team. Priory Hospital Southampton, Marchwood, Southampton is a residential mental health service providing acute and eating disorder care for adult males and females. It is accessible by public transport, with a bus stop at the end of the access road and Totton railway station approximately 5 miles away, with Redbridge station around 7 miles away. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
