Priory Hospital Southampton, Marchwood, Southampton is a residential mental health service providing acute and eating disorder care for adults. The role is based at Priory Hospital Southampton and requires driving access due to location.

Salary is £36,176 per annum and 37.5 hours per week, full-time. Join a compassionate team within the Nursing department, delivering safe, effective care under MDT guidance and the Priory standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience working within an Eating Disorder setting.
• Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards.
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to change, improvement and delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to work flexibly and use innovative approaches to care.

Responsibilities

• You will work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team to promote clients' best interests and deliver prescribed nursing care safely and effectively.

This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.

Job Overview

Priory Hospital Southampton, Marchwood, Southampton is a residential mental health service providing acute and eating disorder care for adult males and females. It is accessible by public transport, with a bus stop at the end of the access road and Totton railway station approximately 5 miles away, with Redbridge station around 7 miles away. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
