Qualifications

Job description

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Southgate, North London area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.


The hospital is a private facility specializing in the treatment of mental health problems. It has a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, including consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and therapists.


To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.


Key Duties:
  1. Providing a high standard of care to people with learning disabilities and personality disorders.
  2. Developing therapeutic relationships to optimize patient engagement.
  3. Following all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice.
  4. Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress.
  5. Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach within a forensic setting.
  6. Working as a Primary Nurse/Care Coordinator for an identified group of patients while consistently working within the clinical governance framework.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
  2. Patient-centric and committed to delivering high-quality care.
  3. Fine-tuned decision-making skills.
  4. Excellent organizational capability.
  5. Effective communication skills.
  6. Flexibility and a strong "can do" attitude.

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of GBP37,000 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both day and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
