Salary: £34,000 + £5,000 welcome bonus
We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and highly knowledgeable Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team. You will work in the adult acute unit, primarily catering to adult private patients and NHS-referred adult OCD patients.
This opportunity allows you to gain experience in specialist areas such as Adults Acute, Addictions, and OCD, providing an excellent platform for your career development.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, registered mental health nurses, healthcare assistants, teaching staff, and therapists (DBT, CBT, clinical psychologists, child psychotherapists, occupational therapists). Your role involves assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care.
We employ various therapeutic approaches, notably Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), which you will be trained in and supported to use.
The newly opened mixed adult acute ward has 14 beds and is led by two consultants, offering valuable experience for both new and experienced nurses. Many patients are sectioned under the Mental Health Act, providing opportunities to learn about tribunals, managers' hearings, and mental health legislation. Patients are reviewed regularly to ensure timely discharge.
