Job summary

Scarborough Health Network at Centenary Site seeks a Registered Technologist (CEN Laboratory) on a temporary, part-time basis for 13 months. The role involves processing lab specimens, performing tests and updating patient records to ensure accurate results.

Responsibilities include maintaining a stocked work area, adhering to safety policies, and delivering high-quality care in a busy acute care setting while collaborating with the laboratory team and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• CMLTO registered Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing.
• Ability to perform laboratory functions in a busy acute care hospital (hematology, immunohematology, chemistry).
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills in stressful situations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills with patients, families and staff.
• Commitment to SHN safety programs and ongoing education.
