Scarborough Health Network invites applications for an MDRD Technician (CEN) at Centenary Site. Reporting to the Manager of Medical Devices Reprocessing, the role focuses on processing, decontamination and sterilization of hospital supplies to support patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a Central Services or Medical Device Reprocessing certificate, demonstrates infection control knowledge, customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong English

Formación

• Central Services or Medical Device Reprocessing certificate from an accredited college.
• Knowledge of decontamination, instrument inspection, assembly/packaging, endoscopy and sterilization.
• MDRD competency test required (80% pass).
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control in reprocessing medical devices.
• Good customer service and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking comprehension.
• Team orientation and reliability aligned with SHN values.
