Birmingham Children's Trust is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead the new Supported Lodgings and Supported Accommodation services in Birmingham. Qualifications

• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• A recognised Level 5 management qualification (or equivalent).
• Significant experience managing services for children and young people, with safeguarding, regulatory compliance and QA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery, development, and registration of the new Supported Lodgings Scheme.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across Supported Accommodation and Lodgings services.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, family-based accommodation and support for vulnerable young people.
• Promote child-centred practice and safeguarding policies to protect young people.
• Manage staff, budgets, and resources to run services effectively.
• Contribute to the service management team and broader accommodation development.
• Drive service development plans to achieve positive outcomes for young people.
• Undertake Registered Manager duties on registration and ensure regulatory compliance.
