Job summary

Career Makers is partnering with a respected care provider to appoint an Ofsted Registered Manager for Supported Accommodation services for young people aged 16-17, across Birmingham and Plymouth. You will lead regulatory compliance, safeguarding, and service improvement, travelling between sites to oversee multiple services.

The role requires successfully leading an Ofsted inspection, strong leadership, and commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager or deputy manager ready to register.
• Proven experience completing at least one Ofsted inspection within Children's Residential or Supported Accommodation.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or working towards it.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Birmingham and Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of multiple services, ensuring Ofsted compliance, safeguarding and high-quality care.
• Lead and develop teams, overseeing recruitment, performance, audits and continuous service improvement.
• Build strong relationships with Ofsted, Local Authorities and external professionals, while managing resources and travelling between services.

Career Makers are partnering with a highly regarded care provider who are seeking an experienced and motivated Ofsted Registered Manager to lead and oversee their Supported Accommodation services for young people aged 16 -17 across Birmingham and Plymouth.
