Job summary

Lifeways is seeking a Registered Manager to lead five established supported living services in Glasgow, guiding a dedicated team to deliver person-centred support for people with learning disabilities and autism. With three Team Leaders, you’ll develop teams, maintain high standards of care, and strengthen relationships with people supported, families and local communities.

This full-time role requires a valid UK driving licence to travel between services; a Level 3 SVQ in Health & Social Care

Qualifications

  • Experience in adult social care management, preferably within supported living, learning disabilities or autism services.
  • Strong operational and people management experience.
  • Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
  • Good understanding of quality, compliance and regulatory requirements within social care.
  • Minimum Level 3 SVQ in Health & Social Care; Level 4 desirable or in progress.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services.
  • Genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

Registered Manager – Supported Living

Location: Glasgow | Full-time

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to lead a group of established supported living services across Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team supporting people with learning disabilities and autism , while leading and developing a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

You’ll oversee five established services , supporting 14 individuals and around 1,200 commissioned hours of support , with the support of three Team Leaders working alongside you to lead and develop the teams.

The services have strong foundations and were recently inspected in January 2026 with a positive outcome . This is not about starting from scratch — it's an opportunity to build on what's already working well, continue improving quality and develop a strong, positive team culture.

What you’ll be doing

As Registered Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead and develop teams across five supported living services, creating a positive and supportive working environment.

What you’ll bring

We're looking for someone who is passionate about social care and has the leadership experience to make a real difference.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous management experience within adult social care, ideally within supported living, learning disabilities or autism services .
  • Strong experience in operational and people management.
  • Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
  • A good understanding of quality, compliance and regulatory requirements within social care.
  • A minimum Level 3 SVQ qualification in Health & Social Care , with Level 4 desirable or working towards it.
  • A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally between services.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
