Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the supported living services across Cannock, Willenhall and Stoke-on-Trent, ensuring care plans are implemented and high standards of care are maintained. The role requires a strong leadership presence, CQC knowledge, safeguarding and DoLS expertise, and the ability to engage with commissioners.

Travel between services is required; a full UK driving licence is needed, and DBS clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as Registered Manager or Deputy in domiciliary care or supported living.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection process.
• Understanding of safeguarding, Care Act 2014, DoLS.
• Ability to engage commissioners and professionals; strong report writing.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for service travel.
• Willingness to register with CQC as Registered Manager and DBS checked.

Job description

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to take on a pivotal role in supporting the overall management of the facilities in Cannock, Willenhall and Stoke on Trent, ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and that high standards of care are maintained

This is a CQC-registered provider which delivers supported living care that helps adults live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes and communities

As the Registered Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of all supported living services
• Provide visible, hands-on leadership to service teams, promoting high-quality, person-centred support
• Carry out scheduled quality visits to each service to assess care delivery, staff practice, client wellbeing and complianceli>
• Chair regular team meetings to maintain clear communication, consistency and team cohesion
• Provide the Directors with regular service updates, performance reports and risk information

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in domiciliary care or supported living
• Knowledge of CQC regulations, the fundamental standards and the inspection process
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
• Experience supporting individuals whose behaviour may challenge, using positive and least-restrictive approaches
• Excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills, with confidence engaging commissioners and professionals
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, due to regular travel between services
• Willingness to register with the CQC as Registered Manager and to undergo an enhanced DBS check

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness working towards this)

The successful Registered Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,000 - £47,000 per annum - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working on days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
