Job summary

Hartwig Care in Weybridge is seeking a Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service, ensuring safe, person-centred care and high-quality service delivery. This FTC maternity cover role supports staff and service users while maintaining compliance.

You will manage the office team, oversee rostering, staff development, and uphold CQC standards in a dynamic local environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification minimum; Level 5 or willingness to work towards it.
• Previous Registered Manager experience.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and Health & Social Care legislation.
• Experience in assessments, risk management, and person-centred care.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Eligibility for CQC registration.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, person-centred care delivery in line with CQC standards.
• Ensure accurate assessments, care plans, and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
• Oversee rostering to ensure safe and punctual care delivery.
• Manage complaints, incidents, audits, and safeguarding.
• Supervise, support, and develop office and care staff.
• Ensure compliance, reporting, and high-quality documentation.
• Contribute to service growth and represent the branch at external meetings.
• Kind, compassionate, professional, and an excellent communicator.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, Health & Social Care legislation, and best practice in domiciliary care.
• Experience in assessments, risk management, and person-centred care.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage staff performance.
• Strong organisational, administrative, and IT skills.
• Knowledge of business management and customer service.

REGISTERED MANAGER (FTC Maternity Cover)

Location: Weybridge Branch
Contract Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, flexibility required)
Salary: £40,000.00 per year (pro rata)
