Job summary

Hartwig Care Limited is seeking a Registered Manager for the Weybridge branch on a fixed-term maternity cover. You will lead the domiciliary care service, ensuring safe, person-centred care delivery, accurate assessments, and robust risk management.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid grasp of CQC regulations to maintain service quality. The position offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours) with flexibility, and a pro-rated UK salary aligned to market norms.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and Health & Social Care legislation.
• Experience in assessments, risk management and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, person-centred care delivery in line with CQC standards.
• Ensure accurate assessments, care plans, and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
• Oversee rostering to ensure safe and punctual care delivery.
• Manage complaints, incidents, audits, and safeguarding.
• Supervise, support, and develop office and care staff.
• Ensure compliance, reporting, and high-quality documentation.
• Contribute to service growth and represent the branch at external meetings.
• Be kind, compassionate, professional, and an excellent communicator.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regs and Health & Social Care legislation.

REGISTERED MANAGER (FTC Maternity Cover)

Location: Weybridge Branch
Contract Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, flexibility required)
Salary: £40,000.00 per year (pro rata)

• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage staff performance.
• Strong organisational, administrative, and IT skills.
• Level 3 qualification minimum; Level 5 or willingness to work towards it.
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and Health & Safety.
• Eligibility for CQC registration.
• Previous Registered Manager experience.
• Knowledge of business management and customer service.
