Job summary

Para Group is hiring a Registered Children's Homes Manager to lead a large home in Derby, overseeing day-to-day operations and shaping the service.

You will drive standards, safeguarding, and outcomes for children aged 8-17, line-manage staff, and manage budgets while building strong partnerships with professionals and families.

The role requires Level 5 Leadership & Management in Children & Young People, 3+ years in residential childcare, LD experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Residential childcare experience is required.
• Experience with learning disabilities and complex needs is essential.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and quality standards.
• Proven leadership ability with a focus on best outcomes for children.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager from a Learning Disabilities background who is a versatile, forward-thinking leader who can adapt and shape the service.

About the role:

You will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children aged 817.

Youll play a key role in driving standards, embedding a positive culture, and shaping the future direction of the service.
