Job summary

Para Group in Derby is seeking a Registered Children's Homes Manager to lead a large children’s home in Derby, delivering high quality care for children with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will assume full responsibility for the home’s leadership and day-to-day operations, upholding safeguarding, standards, and a child-centred, therapeutic approach while guiding a dedicated staff team and building strong relationships with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in residential childcare.
• Experience within Learning Disabilities and complex needs.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
• A confident leader with a passion for achieving the best outcomes for children.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Were excited to be recruiting a Registered Homes Manager to lead a large childrens home in Derby.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager from a Learning Disabilities background who is a versatile, forward-thinking leader who can adapt and shape the service.

About the role:

You will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children aged 817.

Youll play a key role in driving standards, embedding a positive culture, and shaping the future direction of the service.
