Job summary

S.N.G Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Registered Manager for a specialist children’s residential home in Andover. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.

You’ll manage a dedicated team and work with therapists and external professionals to provide a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior role within children’s residential in the last 5 years.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child protection.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist children’s residential home in Andover, supporting children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, including ASD, ADHD, PTSD and trauma-related behaviours.

This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Salisbury, Basingstoke, Winchester, Newbury, Amesbury, Tidworth, Whitchurch, Romsey and surrounding areas.

As Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, work collaboratively with therapists and external professionals, and ensure a safe, therapeutic, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive and achieve positive outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader looking to make a meaningful difference in a small, homely and supportive service.

• A positive, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting young people
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior role within children’s residential in the last 5 years
• At least 1 year experience in a supervisory or management role
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child protection
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without s p o n s o r s h i p
• Desirable:Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Previous experience as Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Experience writing reports and attending reviews
