Job summary

Keystone Care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a small residential home in Derbyshire, delivering person-centred care for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. You will develop high-performing teams, ensure CQC compliance, and drive continuous service improvement in a supportive environment.

The role requires a Level 5 Diploma (or willingness to work towards), leadership excellence, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager within Learning Disabilities and/or Autism services.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practices within social care.
  • Proven experience leading and developing successful care teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
  • Experience managing residential services and achieving positive outcomes for individuals.
  • A person-centred approach and passion for delivering high-quality care.
  • Ability to drive service improvement and maintain compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the residential home.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislative requirements.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of support workers and senior staff.
  • Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management processes.
  • Monitor and review care plans, risk assessments, and support strategies.
  • Promote independence, choice, and inclusion for all residents.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead on safeguarding, incidents, complaints, and quality improvement initiatives.
