Job summary

Pathway Healthcare in Southampton is seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Home Manager to lead a dedicated team caring for young people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will work to develop independence and help them shine, in a brand new 4-bed home, supported by an in-house Positive Behavioural Support team to deliver therapeutic care.

Job description

If so, we would love to hear from you if you are a seasoned and experienced Ofsted Registered Home Manager, with particular experience in supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.

This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and innovative manager to create and maintain a child-centred therapeutic home in a brand new 4-bed property in Southampton.

We have a well-resourced in-house Positive Behavioural Support team who will work with you and your team, to deliver therapeutic care to get the best outcomes for the young people.

The role requires:

• QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Children’s Residential Care or equivalent
• Solid experience of working with young people or young adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that can challenge
• A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation
• Current registered manager experience with a track record of achieving 'good' at inspection
• A willingness and ability to cover on-call duties and work flexibly as required
