Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Registered Home Manager for Cleveland House in Banks, Southport. You will oversee the home, ensuring outstanding care, compliance, and budgets are managed effectively.

Lead a compassionate team to deliver personalised support and meaningful activities for residents with ABI and neurological needs. The role requires NMC/HCPC registration and a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registration is essential.
• Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is required or being pursued.
• Experience supporting individuals with ABI and neurological rehabilitation.
• Experience with tracheostomy management and long‑term ventilation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Registered Home Manager - NMC/HCPC

Location: Southport
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 DOE
Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours plus some on call work

Cleveland House is located in Banks, Southport, in the west of Lancashire. It offers residential support for 32 males and females with an acquired brain injury (ABI), progressive neurological condition (PNC) and associated physical health needs. We are located on a residential housing estate. We can also support those who have: Conditions such as epilepsy Difficulties with communication Difficulties with swallowing May need respiratory support through a ventilator and/or tracheostomy.

As the CQC Registered Manager at Priory, you will take overall responsibility for the home, overseeing all areas including budgets, quality, compliance, and the delivery of outstanding care. You will support and inspire your team to ensure residents receive the highest standards of care, helping them achieve their goals, develop skills, gain confidence, and engage in meaningful activities within the community.

You’ll lead a compassionate and dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding care. With a strong focus on personalised support and proven approaches, you’ll help residents build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes. As Registered Manager, you will:

Essential for the role

You will be NMC or HCPC registered.

You must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards it.

Experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Experience working within neurological rehabilitation. The following experience would be beneficial Experience in tracheostomy management. Experience supporting people who require long‑term ventilation.
