Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager for a specialist service in Carr Gate, West Yorkshire. The role leads a care home providing residential support for adults with learning disabilities, autistic traits, and complex needs.

You will oversee daily operations, drive person-centred care, and lead a dedicated team to implement individual care plans while ensuring a safe, dignified environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a home for residents with complex behaviours and learning disabilities.
• Older people experience welcome if related to complex dementia.
• NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or working toward it is required.
• Strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the home and ensure high standards of care and compliance.
• Lead, support and develop the team to deliver person-centred care.
• Support assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for residents.
• Promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence in all aspects of care.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve best outcomes.

Job description

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Home Manager to manage a specialist service based in the Carr Gate, West Yorkshire area. You will be working for one of UKs leading healthcare providers.

This is a fantastic care home which offers residential support for males and females with a variety of needs, including individuals with a learning disability, autistic people, and those with complex needs.

As The Home Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Oversee the day:to:day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
• Lead, support, and develop your team to deliver person:centred care
• Support the assessment and implementation of individual care plans
• Ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for residents
• Promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence in all aspects of care
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Must have previous experience as a manager specialising in complex behaviours and learning disabilities
• Open to older people experience if there is evidence experience with complex dementia
• Enthusiastic, energetic and comfortable working in a fast pace environment
• Able to show a can:do attitude at all times

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or be working towards it

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP45,000 : GBP55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week on days with some occasional on calls.
