Job summary

Pertemps Medical Professionals is seeking an experienced Registered Children's Nurse with surgical experience to join the Paediatric Day Unit on a 6-month block booking across Gloucester and Cheltenham sites. Hours are 34.5 per week, with three long days (07:00–19:30) from Monday to Friday, no weekends or bank holidays.

Experience in paediatric surgery, venepuncture, cannulation and medical investigations is preferred. Rates are available by shift (days, nights, Sundays) and client approval.

Registered Children's Nurse – 6-Month Block Booking | Gloucestershire

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Children's Nurse (RCN) with surgical experience to join the Paediatric Day Unit (PDU) on a 6-month block booking supporting services across both the Gloucester and Cheltenham sites.

Role Details

• Contract: 6-month block booking
• Hours: 34.5 hours per week
• Preferred Shift Pattern: Three long days (07:00–19:30)
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• No weekends or bank holidays
• Location: Gloucester & Cheltenham Paediatric Day Units

We are also happy to consider candidates who are available for two days per week if three days is not feasible.

The following experience is required:

• Surgical experience
• Experience in medical investigations
• Venepunture and cannulation would be highly desirable

Rates

• Days Approx. £21 per hour, dependent on experience & client approval
• Nights/Sat Approx. £28 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
• Sundays/bank holidays Approx. £34 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
