Job summary

Esland is seeking a Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a three-bed service for 6 to 18-year-olds with complex needs. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safety and quality of care, and maintain Ofsted compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is essential.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is highly desirable.
• Minimum 2 years in a role relevant to residential care of children.
• Minimum 12 months in a managerial/senior/supervisory role within care.
• In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and related legislation.

Registered Children's Home Manager

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE) + Bonus up to £8,500

Hours: full time, Monday to Friday (permanent contract)

We’re looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager to join our dedicated team and lead one of our nurturing, high-quality EBD homes.

Our home is a three bed service, offering a smaller, safe and nurturing place for 6 to 18-year-olds with complex behavioural, emotional, and social needs.

For This Role, We Need Someone Who Has

• Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (essential)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (highly desirable)
• A minimum 2 years in a position relevant to residential care of children (essential)
• A minimum of 12 months experience in a managerial/senior/team leader/supervisory role within care
• In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice and regulatory expectations, such as Ofsted regulations (essential)
