Registered Manager, Children's Residential Home

Location: Thornton, West Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £55,000 per year plus bonuses

We are looking for a Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed EBD children's home in Thornton. The home is already fully staffed, registered with Ofsted, and built around a strong, therapeutic model of care.

The focus is simple: to offer a gold standard of care to looked-after children who deserve the very best. Working closely with an Educational Psychologist and a team of therapeutic professionals, you will be at the heart of a service that truly puts children first.

What you will be doing:

• Leading and supporting the residential team to deliver high-quality, child-centred care
• Making sure the home remains fully compliant with Ofsted standards and Children's Homes Regulations
• Developing and overseeing individual care plans to meet each child's emotional, physical, and psychological needs
• Supporting recruitment, training, and ongoing staff development
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with external professionals, families, and placing authorities
• Monitoring quality of care and driving continuous improvement

What we are looking for:

• At least 12 months' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• A calm, confident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of young people
