Could you be our Registered Care Manager?

We have a fantastic Registered Care Manager (RCM) opportunity within our Residential Service in Carrickfergus.

This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week. We are offering a Registered Care Manager in Carrickfergus £36,563 per annum.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the management team who enjoys a fast-paced environment.

It is essential you have a Full UK Driver's License for this position.

Edenvale Avenue is a 10-bed residential service supporting individuals with sensory impairment and/or complex needs. It is a beautiful service, offering a supportive working environment committed to quality, with an emphasis on staff training and development!

The high staffing ratios reflect Sense’s commitment to providing high-quality services that meet the unique needs of the people we support.

As a Registered Care Manager, you will be managing a large staff team of the Deputy Manager, Team Leaders, and Support Workers.

The team at the service encourages that no one is left out of life and that independence is continually developed along with daily living skills.

Your required skills and experiences:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in any health and social care setting, including at least 2 years in an operational management role.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders, commissioners, and service users.
  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent, including adult residential management.
  • Experience supporting a large staff team and individuals with challenging behavior.
  • A full UK Driver's License.
  • Full person specification is attached below.
  • Supporting individuals/groups within their home and community to reach their full potential.
  • Providing line management support to staff.
  • Rota and annual leave management.
  • Delivering a high-quality, responsive service to people with learning disabilities using Sense services.
  • Identifying needs and outcomes for each individual supported.
  • Ensuring services meet or exceed legal and organizational standards.
