Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of the care home
• Supporting the care team in care matters
• Providing excellent resident care
• Proactively seeking new residents
• Managing operational and financial controls
• Staff management and supervision
• Maintaining audits and compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• NVQ4/5 qualification preferred
• Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent
• Strong leadership, team working, and staff management skills
• Experience in a Care/Healthcare environment, ideally in elderly residential care
• Knowledge of health, safety, welfare, and drug administration protocols
• Experience working within a Care Home is essential
• Understanding of CQC and current regulatory requirements
• Experience working with individuals with dementia
• Good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Best Interests Decisions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organisational skills and flexibility to prioritise work
