Job summary

Cambridge City Council is seeking professional and customer focused registered Building Inspectors for the 3C Building Control service. The role requires strong technical knowledge, sound professional judgement and a practical approach to enforcement and compliance.

The successful candidate will contribute to high standards of customer service, collaborate across a shared service and local authority environment, and participate in audits, projects and service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Control, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Full corporate membership of CABE, CIOB or RICS is desirable.
• A relevant CSCS Card is required or desirable.
