Our client is seeking a Building Control Surveyor for a contract role based in Surrey. The position initially offers a 12-week contract, with potential for extension.
The role is highly autonomous, requiring you to undertake complex assessment work with minimal supervision. You will work on various project types within the Class 2 limitations as outlined in the Building Safety Act, including new developments and modifications to existing buildings such as residential, industrial, retail, educational, healthcare, entertainment, and sports facilities.
This position demands strong decision-making skills related to life safety and technical expertise to ensure building safety and compliance. We are looking for an experienced Surveyor who has held a similar role within a Local Authority.
Applications are welcomed from candidates registered from Class 2A to Class 2F. The pay rate starts at £56.88/hr (umbrella), depending on your registration level. The client offers hybrid working arrangements, and you will be responsible for managing your own workload.
