Job summary

WSP seeks a Regional Account Lead for the Water Sector PMCM to own key UK accounts across Birmingham and Leeds. You will combine client leadership with growth and delivery credibility, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and guiding framework teams to win opportunities.

You will lead bid activity, connect client insight with our technical capabilities, and stay connected to delivery through selected assignments, including advisory and project delivery work.

Qualifications

• Experience of building trusted client relationships and leading account activity within a B2B or framework environment.
• Business development experience covering opportunity identification, early positioning, capture planning and bid leadership.
• Experience within water, utilities, regulated infrastructure, environmental programmes or related markets.
• Commercial awareness including pipeline management, bid decisions, delivery risk and profitability.
• Ability to link client insight with technical capability and delivery resources.
• Delivery background in programme/project management, controls, cost or advisory delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as Account Lead or Client Director for one or more strategic water-sector accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, framework owners and regional decision-makers.
• Develop understanding of client priorities, investment drivers, procurement routes and framework positions.
• Maintain account plans, pipelines and action plans for priority clients.
• Provide regional oversight aligned with Water Sector strategy.
• Lead pre-positioning, client engagement, capture planning and bid activity.
